Our Vintage Hill style bows are shaped after the early bows by famous bowyers of days passed.
Extremely narrow, (28 mm, just over an inch) at the widest point to just under half an inch at the string groove. 4 layers of tempered bamboo in front of the Zebrano Riser. Did we mention the vintage look? Perhaps the spalted Yew veneer finish gave it away.
A backset glue-up, so when you receive the bow, it will have backset of approx. 2 inches.
This makes this version of our Rebel by Fairbow forgiving and Hard-hitting, and a pleasure to shoot!
The nocks are reinforced with a thin sliver of horn, and tiny, really small. not for the fainthearted. Don t stump m in the dirt and break m.
The straight grip gives you pressure in the hand where it should. Covered in glued reverse polished leather and is nice to hold. Â

We sprayed this Rebel with a semi-gloss 2 k varnish.Â
Comes with a Fastflight string. Our Rebels are fit for modern string materials
